United In Love

When we work together and are on the same accord there is nothing that we can’t accomplish. We have to learn to fight with each other and not against each other. Everything is not a competition or a contest. Someone doesn’t always have to win. You should be able to lean on your fellow man in times of need but nowadays people are so mean and selfish. We want to see each other hurt and fail. The Bible tells you if we come together we can do whatever we imagine yet we continue to be divided. We live in country that was started by a group people who wanted to be able to serve God the way they saw fit, they said it and it was done. We live in a country where a group of people strove for civil rights and today we have a black president, they said it and it was done. You live in a country where you can put your mind to anything and accomplish it, just say it and let it be done. We are our own worst enemies. You put stumbling blocks in your brother’s way not realizing that we are one and when a limb is cut off the whole body suffers. We need to stop waiting until disaster strikes to be united.

If you aren’t part of the solution, you are part of the problem. You are either for me or against me. You can’t straddle the fence in life or religion. Like the Bible says “No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.” You can’t do things for show you must be real. Its funny how people are always there for a handout and never with a hand. Then when things work out people pretend they were down for you from the beginning. Being real means not always trying to get over or looking for compensation for every little thing you do. Real people recognize each other’s needs and act accordingly, they don’t make you ask or beg. I read in a fortune cookie if you will continually give, you will continually have. Nowadays everyone wants to hear amen and the Bible says they have their reward. You can’t just do things so others will see and think you are a good person because God knows your heart. You can fool the whole world but you can’t fool God.

We have to learn to truly love one another at all times. Romans 12:9 say’s love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Proverbs 17:17 say’s A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for adversity. 1 John 4:8 says whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. Love is the most important thing in the bible. We use the bible to judge and condemn but we skip over the most important part to love each other as we would ourselves. I know that loving others is difficult for them that do not love themselves but I’m here to tell you that you deserve to receive and give love. Whatever that is inside you that isn’t allowing you to love and receive love properly let it go because Jesus died so that nothing could hold you. Life is designed to be hard that’s why love is designed to be easy. But the lines between love and hate are so thin that often confuse the two.

1 Corinthians 13:4-13

says Love is patient love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, and it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, and always perseveres. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears. When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

We have to first know what love is. Then we have to love one another and when we love one another that love should unite us.

Romans 12:16

say’s Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited.

Romans 12:4-8

says just as each of us has one body with many members, and these members do not all have the same function, so in Christ we who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. If a man’s gift is prophesying, let him use it in proportion to his faith. If it is serving, let him serve; if it is teaching, let him teach; if it is encouraging, let him encourage; if it is contributing to the needs of others, let him give generously; if it is leadership, let him govern diligently; if it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully.

I know sometimes we must walk alone but you still must love the people who are against you and when God sends you that group that is going to exalt you must love them enough to humble yourself and do your job. You have to know who you are and that you are in the right place. You have to have confidence in the process that God is putting you through and have confidence in your purpose. You also must change your perception and be patient even if you are alone. Then last but not least when you are united with your group you must humble yourself and be united in love.
