Dawn never wanted to kill him she was a good girl. She was sweet, loyal and faithful but she had an uncontrollable temper. He had just set her off, she told herself it wouldn’t happen again but she knew it would because it kept happening over and over again.

The first time was an accident but then she discovered she liked to kill. She liked hearing their screams for mercy it turned her on. They wanted it, they wanted to die and she wanted to help them. She could spot them a mile away an unfaithful man begging her to end their miserable lives. She liked to see them cry and beg for forgiveness.

She wanted them to pray for it to end and she wanted to be their savior. She wanted to answer their prayers. Amen motherfucker she whispered then she lit a cigarette and walked out of the room into the hotel hallway.

Chapter 6: Split Personality

6.1 Split Personality: Evil

“Whoa, are you usually this forward?” Armando asked as he licked his lips and took a step back. Dawn just smiled seductively. “What is that cherry lip gloss?” he asked nervously as he fumbled around with the crime scenes photos he was still holding.

“What you don’t like cherry?” Dawn asked.

“No, you taste good.” He said. Armando chuckled when he had realized what he had said. “I mean it tastes good.” He laughed. “Um do want to do something tonight?” he asked. “You know together.” He uttered not making eye contact.

“Are you talking to me?” Dawn laughed.

“Yeah.” He said as he looked her in the eyes. Armando laughed, “For some reason, I’m a little flustered.”

Dawn stepped closer to Armando and softly breathed on his neck as she whispered in his ear. “Do I make you nervous?” she asked.

“A little.” He whispered as he swallowed hard.

Dawn laughed and took a step back. “I would love to do something tonight.” She smiled. “Call me later and I’ll text you my address.” She said.

“Okay.” He replied.

“I’ll be ready by eight.” She said as she left his office.

Dawn was all smiles as she went back to her office until she saw who was waiting on her. “Meredith, why are you here?” Dawn asked annoyed.

“We need to talk,” Meredith said.

“Again? What for? I let you have Dylan.” Dawn said as she sat down at her desk.

“Well, he broke up with me,” Meredith said.

“How is this my problem? If he doesn’t want you I suggest you move on.” Dawn said as she opened her desk drawer.

“You need to leave him alone so he can do what’s right!” Meredith yelled.

“Are you delusional? I told him it was over what else can I do?” Dawn asked as she searched in her desk drawer.

Meredith continued to yell about Dylan but Dawn was focused on finding something. Dawn’s eyes lit up when she found it. At her desk, she had a vial of Misoprostol a drug that was used to induce abortions.

Dawn discreetly got a syringe for her desk and drew out the medicine. “Look, Meredith, you need to talk to Dylan I have nothing to do with this,” Dawn said. “Here he comes right now,” Dawn added.

As Meredith looked away Dawn emptied the syringe into her glass of water. Meredith turned back around to face Dawn with a sad look on her face. “Why are you still sitting here? Go bother him.” Dawn demanded as she poured herself a glass of water from the pitcher that was sitting on her desk. Meredith took a huge gulp of her water and then began to cry. “Oh my goodness.” Dawn sighed as she rolled her eyes. Dawn grabbed some tissues and handed them to Meredith reaching across her desk and purposely knocking over both of their glasses and the water pitcher.

Dawn got up from her seat and went to get Dylan who was talking to Will. “Your baby’s momma is in my office crying.” She said. Then Dawn took off her lab coat and tossed it to Will. “I’m going to lunch.” She said. “Oh, can you get a lab tech to clean up the water in my office, Meredith really made a mess.” She added as she left.

Chapter 5: The Beginning of the End

5.4 Revenge: Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde

It was the next morning and Dawn was woken up by the sound of her alarm clock. She was sprawled out on her couch with empty cans of beer surrounding her. “Ouch.” She grumbled as stretched her stiff body. As her eyes began to focus she looked around the room and realized the mess she had made. Dawn laughed to herself and sat up. “I have kept you pinned up for way too long.” She said. Dawn picked up a half-empty beer can and took a gulp. “Well, I’m back now.” She smiled. Dawn got up and kicked beer cans on the floor on the way to the bathroom.

She stood in the bathroom and stared at herself in the mirror. Dawn never wanted to admit it to herself but she enjoyed killing self-entitled cheating pricks. She was so sick of lying to herself and pretending to be some sweet but intelligent victim. To her, those men got exactly what they deserved. But she had to operate in the real world, she had to hold down a job and act normal. Maybe she had to pretend to be normal but she would no longer deny herself the pleasure of taking a lying pigs life.

Dawn undressed and started the shower. She stepped into the warm stream of water and let it engulf her body. She closed her eyes as the water ran down her face. She began to imagine that the water was blood spraying all over her and drenching her completely. Dawn was lost in memories of last night when her cell phone rang snapping her back into reality. She quickly turned off the water and wiped the water from her face. She stepped out of the shower and wrapped a towel around her. She rifled through her clothes on the bathroom floor and grabbed her phone out of her pants pocket.

“Hello?” she said.

“Hey, it’s me, Dylan.” He answered.

“I know I have caller ID, what do you want?” she asked.

“Um, I just wanted to check on you and see if you were okay after last night,” Dylan said.

“I’m fine Dylan.” Dawn said annoyed.

“Okay, I’ll see you at work.” He said as dawn hung up the phone and tossed it on the floor.

“OMG!” she screamed as she turned the water on and got back in the shower.

After Dawn had showered and gotten dressed she grabbed her keys then left for work. Dawn had her music blasting as she pulled into her office parking lot. As she stepped out of the car everyone else in the parking lot stared at her. She had on skin-tight jeans, kitten heels and a small white t-shirt that clung to every curve. Dawn just pretended not to notice and went inside.

“Wow what has gotten into you?” Will asked as he followed her into her office.

Dawn laughed, “Nothing.”

“You don’t usually dress like this.” He said.

Dawn grabbed her lab coat and put it on then put her hair into a ponytail. “I don’t know I just feel different today.” She replied with a smile.

Chapter 5: The Beginning of the End

5.3 Revenge: Scratch

Dawn was walking down the sidewalk on the way to her car when a well-dressed man coming out of the restaurant next door stopped her. “Hey, baby can I go with you?” He asked. Dawn just shook her head and kept walking trying to ignore him. “Oh you can’t speak?” he asked. “You think you too cute or something?” he continued.

Dawn was becoming annoyed as the man followed her all the way to her car taunting her. Dawn calmly opened her car door and sat her food in the backseat. “Such an expensive suit on such a cheap man.” She said as she slammed the door. At that moment it was like a switch flipped in her mind, it was as if she was another person. Dawn’s entire personality had changed. “Now what are you going to do with me?” She asked as she moved closer to him. “Do you really think you are even in my lane?” she laughed.

“I’m a millionaire.” He said.

“Oh is that so and a married man I see, your wife must feel so lucky.” She said sarcastically.

“I can do whatever I want.” He replied.

“Well, you are a grown man.” She stated as she grazed his arm with her fingertips. Dawn was laying it on thick and he was taking it all in. “The real question is can you handle me because I can definitely handle you.” Dawn smiled and said cockily as she leaned back on the hood of her car. He began to smile and loosen his tie.

“I can.” He said as he tried to kiss her. Dawn quickly moved her head. “Did I say you could kiss me?” she asked as she became furious.

“I thought,” he stammered.

“Oh don’t hurt yourself.” She laughed as she stood up. “Get in,” she said as she got in the car.

He hurriedly got in the passenger seat. Dawn smiled mischievously and cranked up the car. “What’s with all the plastic?” he asked looking around the car.

“Easy clean up.” She said as she pulled off.

“What?” he asked as she jammed a pocketknife into his neck.

He began to flail and grab for his neck. She quickly locked the doors so he couldn’t escape. Dawn was taking all the back roads to avoid detection. As the man bleed out in her car Dawn began to calmly talk to him.

“You should have just left me alone, you could have been home with your wife right now.” She said. “You men are all the same you have to have your cake and eat it too.” She laughed. “You greedy motherfuckers!” she yelled. “Hey are you listening to me!” she screamed. “Oh, you’re dead, just like a man to die so he doesn’t have to listen.” She said through clenched teeth.

Dawn pulled into her garage and shut the door behind her. She rolled up his body in the plastic covering the interior of the car then she dragged him out of her car. She placed his body is this huge plastic tub. Then she began to put on gloves and a mask.

“Good riddance.” She said as she poured acid all over his body.
